The Sun-Moon Union Across America: LOVE
This cannot wait any longer. Today, on the celebration of our Country's Independence--The Fourth of July--a drop has fallen and the ripple is propagating.
LOVE
Love is ever-present, but spend these 7 minutes over the next two months focusing on letting love re-shape the WE*.
For the last few months, I have been thinking a lot about the upcoming Total Solar Eclipse and fantasizing of this event as tearing through America bringing a tremendous change. The latter is obviously metaphysically saturated, but as I scientist the former is very real and been consuming much of my capacity (public library and other community talks, working with students, co-organizing a viewing event for regions K-12).
But today, on a relaxing, Independence-celebrating, permaculture day I am motivated to push the metaphysical ball over a hill after listening to this episode of a wonderful podcast I occasionally take time to listen to (Sex, Religion, Power, and Politics, Voices of the Sacred Feminine with Karen Tate), as her guest Ayamanatara focuses the conversation, at one point, on using the internet--or rather, the world wide connection through technology--as a powerful tool to amplify "magik".
LOVE: Whatever your spiritual orientation, or lack of, I am moderately sure the concept of LOVE resonates in some way with our person or our spiritual concept. You may already have a prayer** [incantation, quote, chant, evocation, scripture, etc.] that you speak that includes the word LOVE.
Step One: Choose a prayer with the word "LOVE".
As an example, "I Love God", "Jesus Loves Me", or "I am LOVE", or "Prayer is an act of LOVE; words are not needed"--Saint Teresa of Avila, or "She is LOVE".
Step Two: Recite your prayer at 7: 21 am/pm
1st minute: Recite your prayer for the first time.
2nd minute: Recite on New Moon on July 23rd
3rd minute: recite your prayer on the Full Moon on August 7th
4th, 5th, and 6th minute: On 7/21 recite your prayer at 7:21 am + pm, and during the [Total]** Solar Eclipse
7th minute: recite your prayer on the Full Moon on September 6th
Step Three: Be proud.
*The meaning of WE her is concluded, but is intended to mean the WE that the reader thinks of when read "WE".
**Prayer in this context is again meant to be ambiguous as many folks 'pray' differently and may not call is 'prayer', but instead 'chanting'. They are not equatable, but are equal.
**Will not be a Total Solar Eclipse for everyone in America, so you can calculate a time by looking up a Map of Totality, draw a line to directly north of your location to the path of totality, find the mileage, multiply this be the speed of sound, and then add that number of seconds to the point on totality you found. This way, the sound of this prayer emanating from the path of totality.
